Taraba Landslide: PDP Sweeps All Chairmanship Seats in LG Polls!

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has secured a resounding victory in the recent chairmanship elections across all 16 local government areas of Taraba State. The official declaration was made on Sunday by Dr. Phillip Duwe, chairman of the State Independent Electoral Commission (TSIEC), from the Commission’s headquarters in Jalingo, confirming the PDP candidates as the duly elected chairmen.
Addressing claims of limited party participation, Dr. Duwe clarified that four political parties actively contested the elections: the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Action Peoples Party (APP), People’s Democratic Party (PDP), and Young Progressives Party (YPP).
