Taylor Swift Unveils Trailer for ‘The Eras Tour: The Final Show’ Ahead of Disney+ Premiere

Taylor Swift is preparing to bring her history-making Eras Tour to a cinematic finale with two major releases arriving on Disney+ on December 12. Fans will be treated to a full-length concert film, Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show, along with a companion docuseries titled Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The End of an Era, offering a richly layered celebration of the tour’s legacy.
The concert film documents the tour’s climactic performance in Vancouver, B.C., distinguishing itself from earlier theatrical and streaming versions by showcasing the complete Tortured Poets Department segment. Introduced after the album’s 2024 release, the TTPD set was performed in full only in Vancouver. In the trailer, Swift addresses the crowd with emotional candor, thanking fans for their role in what she calls the most “thrilling chapter” of her life. Directed by Glenn Weiss and produced by Taylor Swift Productions with Silent House Productions, the project deepens Swift’s growing body of concert films and artistic storytelling.
Alongside the concert presentation, the docuseries The End of an Era promises an intimate, behind-the-scenes look at the global tour. Viewers will see exclusive rehearsal footage, backstage moments, and firsthand reflections from Swift on conceptualizing and executing the nearly three-hour production across multiple cities. The series includes appearances from opening acts Gracie Abrams and Sabrina Carpenter, as well as guest performers like Ed Sheeran and Florence Welch. Two episodes debut on December 12, with additional installments released in biweekly pairs. The series is directed by Don Argott and co-directed by Sheena M. Joyce, produced by Object & Animal, offering fans unprecedented access.
These releases mark a celebratory close to The Eras Tour, which became the highest-grossing tour in music history. Spanning 2023 to 2025, it broke attendance records, fueled global streaming surges, and reshaped the live-music landscape—cementing Taylor Swift’s influence on the industry and reinforcing the tour’s enduring impact.
