Stray Kids' 'DO IT' Crowned Fan Favorite: Top New Music Pick of the Week

Stray Kids’ latest release, the mixtape “DO IT,” made an immediate impact on global listeners, rising to the top of this week’s fan-voted music poll by Billboard. The five-track EP, shared through JYP Entertainment, earned overwhelming fan support, further proving the group’s influence and steady rise across international music circles.
The drop arrived during a heavily competitive week filled with new songs and film-related soundtracks. Among the contenders were the cast of Wicked: For Good, which launched alongside the movie’s opening weekend, and new work from Tate McRae, The Kid LaROI, and Tainy featuring Karol G. Despite the crowded field—and Wicked drawing major box office attention—Stray Kids captured an astonishing 86% of total votes in the Billboard readers’ poll, underscoring their momentum.
This mixtape, which the group also calls a “special album,” follows the success of their fourth Korean-language studio album, Karma. That project previously hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200, cementing the group’s reputation for consistent chart performance. With DO IT, Stray Kids continue shaping a distinct artistic identity while maintaining a strong bond with their growing audience.
Positioned within their ongoing “SKZ IT TAPE” series, DO IT carries a message about moving boldly and confidently. Across its tracks, the mixtape illustrates the group’s unfolding narrative—one marked by ambition, creativity, and a refusal to hesitate when opportunities appear. Each song reflects a piece of the group’s evolving journey, emphasizing self-defined identity and intention.
The EP contains five tracks: “Do It,” “DIVINE,” “Holiday,” “Photobook,” and a special “Do It (Festival Version).” The lead single was accompanied by a dynamic performance-driven video, released the same week, offering fans a vivid, high-energy visual to complement the mixtape’s spirit.
Outside the group’s landslide win, other releases made a respectable showing in the poll. Tate McRae’s “So Close to What???” drew nearly 6% of the vote, placing it in a distant second. Close behind was the Wicked: For Good movie soundtrack—led by Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande—which secured just over 5%. Still, the final results revealed the unmistakable strength of Stray Kids’ global fan base, which propelled DO IT to the top with remarkable force.
