Star-Studded Showdown: Illinois State Fair Unleashes Country & Rock Legends!

The Illinois State Fair is gearing up to host a stellar lineup of musical acts on its grandstand this summer, featuring a diverse range of artists from country music legends to rap superstars. While the fair itself is scheduled to commence on August 7th at the Illinois State Fairground in Springfield, the highly anticipated grandstand musical performances will begin the following day.
The concert series will kick off on Friday, August 8th, at 8 p.m. with country music artist Jake Owen, joined by the 1990s country superstar Jo Dee Messina. The entertainment continues with a packed schedule of performances:
Saturday, August 9th: The Black Crowes will take the stage at 8 p.m., with Southall as their supporting act.
Sunday, August 10th: Megan Moroney is set to perform at 8 p.m., accompanied by Kameron Marlowe.
Tuesday, August 12th: Legendary artist Sheryl Crowe will headline at 8 p.m.
Wednesday, August 13th: Rap icon Snoop Dogg will perform at 8 p.m., featuring Christone "Kingfish" Ingram.
Thursday, August 14th: Country superstar Brad Paisley will appear at 8 p.m., with Tucker Wetmore.
Friday, August 15th: The popular electronic music duo The Chainsmokers are scheduled for an 8 p.m. performance.
Saturday, August 16th: Rock legends Def Leppard will grace the stage at 8 p.m.
Sunday, August 17th: The Turnpike Troubadours will close out the concert series at 8 p.m., joined by Whitey Morgan.
