Telugu actor Akhil Akkineni, son of esteemed actors Nagarjuna and Amala Akkineni, tied the knot with entrepreneur Zainab Ravdjee in a beautiful ceremony. The wedding events, including an intimate ceremony and a grand reception, were a significant affair in Hyderabad.

The traditional wedding ceremony was held in Hyderabad on Friday, June 6, 2025. It was a private affair, taking place at the Akkineni family residence during the auspicious early morning muhurat of 3:35 am, attended only by close family members and intimate friends.

Proud father Nagarjuna Akkineni shared his happiness on social media, penning an emotional note. Following the intimate wedding, the Akkineni family hosted a lavish wedding reception for luminaries from the South Indian film industry. The grand event saw a convergence of stars who arrived to bless the newlyweds, Akhil and Zainab. Annapurna Studios, the family's production house, shared glimpses of the celebration, delighting fans.

The reception was a star-studded affair, graced by prominent personalities from various South Indian film industries. The guest list included Kannada superstar Yash, Ram Charan with his wife Upasana Kamineni Konidela, Tamil superstar Suriya who attended with director Venky Atluri, and Tollywood’s Prince Mahesh Babu who came with his wife Namrata Shirodkar and daughter Sitara.
