Genelia D'Souza Revives Hyderabadi Heritage With Her Khada Dupatta Look
For her latest look, Genelia turned heads in a breathtaking Khasa dupatta. Her ensemble featured a deep purple Anarkali-style kurta that came with a plunging neckline, fluid fabric, and multiple kalis that added movement to the look. She paired the kurta with a handwoven 6-yard long dupatta in the same hue. The dupatta was a statement piece in itself as it was adorned with intricate embroidery and zardozi-detailed borders. She completed the ensemble with a matching purple potli bag that embellished with zardozi work.
For accessories, Genelia turned to Razwada Jewels, opting for statement polki earrings. The earrings boasted vibrant pink tourmalines, Colombian emeralds, and a three-carat centrepiece polki, all set in finely detailed 18k gold. She further elevated the look with a hathphool set featuring Zambian emeralds and pearls. Keeping her makeup fresh and luminous, Genelia went for a radiant base, soft smoky eyes, nude gloss lips, and styled her hair in a sleek low bun adorned with a traditional gajra. With a look that celebrated timeless tradition and modern sensibility, Genelia delivered a masterclass in heritage glam done right.
On the work front, Genelia is all set to make her comeback to the screens after a hiatus of almost three years. She will be seen in Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par which is all set to release in theatres on June 20.
