Spacey Jane Drops Hot New Single and Announces Massive Summer Tour!

Australian indie rock band Spacey Jane has unveiled their latest single, “Do You Really Love Her,” accompanied by a new music video. This release marks their first new music since their highly praised third album, If That Makes Sense. Frontman Caleb Harper clarified that although the song didn't feel like the right fit for the album at the time, the band always intended for it to be released. Written on Mulholland Drive in the Hollywood Hills with the notable collaborators Sarah Aarons and Joel Little, and produced by John Hill, “Do You Really Love Her” consciously harks back to the sound of classic Australian pub rock, with Harper citing iconic bands like INXS, The Church, and Icehouse as both nostalgic and inspirational influences.
Harper also described “Do You Really Love Her,” and subsequent planned releases, as a deliberate creative experiment. These songs, he explained, are tracks they love that didn't make it onto an album, offering a way for the band to share new material while they take a moment to reflect and re-strategize their creative direction.
In conjunction with the new single, Spacey Jane has announced an extensive U.S. summer tour, dubbed the 'If That Makes Sense Tour,' set to commence on June 2 in New Haven, Connecticut. The tour schedule includes appearances at major festivals such as Governors Ball Music Festival on June 6, Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival on June 14, and Osheaga Festival on August 2. Additionally, the band will support Rainbow Kitten Surprise for a series of amphitheater dates throughout July, with stops including the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on July 21 and Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre in Denver on July 25. An artist presale for tickets will begin on March 17 at 10 a.m. local time, followed by a general on-sale on March 20.
Further exciting news for fans includes the release of a live album, 'Live at The Hordern Pavilion (Sydney, NSW) 2025,' which will be available on Record Store Day this April. This live recording captures performances from three sold-out nights at the iconic Sydney venue, promising to bring the band's electric stage presence to listeners worldwide.
Spacey Jane's previous album, 'If That Makes Sense,' achieved significant critical and commercial success, debuting at No. 2 on the ARIA Albums Chart. It also garnered nominations for Best Rock Album and Best Video at the 2025 ARIA Awards, and the band was recognized as the most played artist on Triple J for the year. Their 2020 debut album, 'Sunlight,' featured the signature single “Booster Seat,” which went on to win the ARIA Award for Song of the Year and has since achieved 7x platinum certification, solidifying Spacey Jane's place as a prominent force in the indie rock scene.
