South Indian Mushroom Roast Recipe for Evening Snack

6-8 dried red chillies, a teaspoon of coriander seeds, half a teaspoon of cumin seeds, fennel seeds, black pepper, an inch of tarmarind, 2-3 gralic cloves, 250 gram of mushrooms, one small onion, two tablespoons of ghee, 4-6 curry leaves, and salt to taste.

Dry roast red chhillies, cumin, coriander, fennel, pepper for 1-2 minutes on a low heat until aromatic.

Let the spices cool down to room temperature. Grind the spioces with tamarind, garlic, tamarind and water into a smooth paste.

Heat ghee in a pan and add onions, curry leaves, salt and water. Saute mushrooms with onion until golden brown.

Add spices paste with salt and ghee. Let it simmer on a low heat foir 3-4 minutes. Garnish with chopped ciorainder leaves and serve.
