Ahead of its official release, a leaked image of politician and actor Smriti Irani as Tulsi Virani has surfaced online, much to the excitement of netizens.

From 2000 to 2008, Smriti Irani was a prominent figure on Indian television. She won the Best Actor award five years in a row and was considered the highest-paid female television actor during that time. However, it was her role as Tulsi Virani, opposite Amar Upadhyay’s Mihir, that truly cemented her popularity. Her recently leaked first look from the upcoming reboot has stirred nostalgia among fans. In the image, Irani is seen in a maroon saree with a golden zari border, wearing a large red bindi, traditional jewellery, and her hair styled in a bun with a side parting and sindoor. “Smriti aka Tulsi looks gorgeous,” fans remarked, echoing widespread appreciation online.

While some speculated whether the leaked image of Smriti Irani was AI-generated, the majority of social media users responded with enthusiasm and nostalgia. One fan commented, “Wow. Nostalgia.
