O'Neil confirmed that Lucy manages to get off the night shift "rather rapidly" at the beginning of Season 8. This swift change is attributed to the "necessity of what's happening in the world of the show at that time," as half the team is in Prague dealing with a "pretty high-stakes situation," requiring "all hands on deck."

Regarding the beloved Chenford relationship, Winter identified the biggest obstacle as the lack of time working together, stating, "We don't work a ton together this season, to be honest." On a personal level, he mentioned "working through their differences" and building trust. O'Neil added that Tim would need to "gather courage" to repeat his heartfelt monologue from the previous season. While acknowledging that relationships always face "bumps in the road," O'Neil believes Chenford possesses the "building blocks" for a long-term commitment, though the full trajectory of the season remains unknown to the actors themselves.

The stars also teased "huge" action sequences for Season 8. Richard T.
