Shock Warning: Primate Ayodele Claims US 'Desperate to Remove' President Tinubu

Primate Elijah Ayodele, the esteemed leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has once again issued grave warnings to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu concerning his political future, particularly his 2027 re-election bid. A central theme of these warnings, conveyed through a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, revolves around the critical role of Vice President Kashim Shettima and significant external pressures facing the presidency.
A primary admonition from Primate Ayodele is against any consideration of dropping Vice President Shettima as Tinubu's running mate for the 2027 elections. The cleric emphatically stated that removing Shettima, even if due to perceived offenses, would be a "huge minus" for President Tinubu. Such a decision, he cautioned, would not only "destroy his chances" but also "bring unnecessary enemies" to the president. Primate Ayodele clarified that those advocating for Shettima's removal are, in fact, "enemies" who do not desire Tinubu's success. He urged President Tinubu to resolve any internal disagreements with Shettima, emphasizing the importance of their continued partnership for the nation's progress and Tinubu's own political viability. Despite potential disputes, Shettima is considered "harmless" to Tinubu's political aspirations, and his removal would lead to a "serious minus" for the government.
Beyond the internal dynamics of his administration, President Tinubu is also forewarned about significant challenges from external and domestic fronts. Primate Ayodele predicted that the president would encounter difficulties in the northern regions, specifically stating that "the Emirs will gang up against you." This suggests a formidable opposition requiring President Tinubu to "do extra work," as the upcoming election "won't come by easily." A more alarming prediction involves the United States, which, according to the Primate, "won’t support" Tinubu’s second-term ambition. America is depicted as "desperate to remove" the president, and will "do everything to see him removed from power," reinforcing the assertion that "America isn’t your friend."
To navigate these perilous waters, Primate Ayodele advised President Tinubu to proactively address pressing national issues to avoid "self-inflicted problems." Key among these are the "issues of hunger and security," which require urgent resolution. Furthermore, the president must "sort out the issue of international communities," particularly in light of the perceived antagonism from the United States. The cleric also alluded to potential political challengers, noting that while no one has openly declared interest, there are individuals who could defeat Tinubu given the current national situation. He maintained neutrality, stating, "I am not in support of anyone," but acknowledged that if a strong contender emerges, based on the existing circumstances, President Tinubu "will have issues." The ultimate counsel from Primate Ayodele reiterates that the nation's fundamental challenges, rather than individual personnel changes, represent the true problems needing attention.
