Shock Deal: Retailer Smashes Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Price with £580 Tech Bundle!

Shoppers looking to acquire the new Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge can benefit from a substantial tech bundle, with freebies worth almost £580, when purchasing through Mobiles.co.uk, a retailer backed by Currys. This exclusive offer includes a complimentary set of Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro, valued at £179, provided with 24-month contracts. Furthermore, customers can claim a free Galaxy Chromebook Go 14” laptop, worth £399, directly from the Samsung website, bringing the total value of free items to £578.
The Galaxy S25 Edge deal from Mobiles.co.uk is available on iD Mobile’s 100GB tariff for £29.99 per month, with an upfront cost of £99. Over the entire contract duration, the total ownership cost amounts to £851.76, which is notably cheaper than buying the phone outright from Samsung or Amazon for £899. This plan also includes unlimited calls and texts, alongside roaming capabilities in 50 international destinations. While iD Mobile’s prices are subject to annual increases based on inflation, with the £29.99 plan rising to £31.49 from April 2026 and £32.99 from April 2027, the initial saving remains significant.
Compared to other providers, Mobiles.co.uk offers a more affordable option than rivals such as Sky Mobile. Sky Mobile provides the S25 Edge at £39 per month with a £12 upfront cost. Although this plan also includes the free Chromebook Go, it only offers a limited 100MB data allowance, making the iD Mobile 100GB tariff a more attractive option for data users. Mobiles.co.uk has not specified an end date for its free Galaxy Buds deal, but customers must claim their free Chromebook Go within 30 days of the purchase date.
Beyond the S25 Edge, Mobiles.co.uk extends various other promotions for Android enthusiasts, including a free Samsung Galaxy Watch7 with the Galaxy S25. This particular offer is available on iD Mobile’s 100GB tariff for £23.99 per month, plus a £29 upfront cost. For Google aficionados, a deal featuring free Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 and a Pixel Watch 3 accompanies the new Google Pixel 10, also on iD Mobile’s 100GB tariff for £34.99 per month, with a £59 upfront fee.
Focusing on the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge itself, this super-sleek smartphone stands out as the slimmest device in the brand’s S Series, measuring an impressive 5.8mm thick. Launched in May, Samsung promoted it as achieving “a new balance of premium, pro-level performance in a resilient titanium body.” Key features include a QHD 6.7” display, a powerful 200MP camera, and Samsung’s “most powerful” Snapdragon 8 processor, with integrated Galaxy AI across numerous applications.
Ahead of its release, Henry Burrell, the Daily Express Deputy Technology Editor, conducted a hands-on review, describing it as an “impressively slender piece of kit.” He highlighted that “millimetre differences don’t sound like much on paper, but they make a huge difference to how this phone feels to hold.” Burrell was particularly struck by its lightness, noting it weighs 163g – just one gram more than the S25, and considerably less than the 190g S25 Plus and 218g S25 Ultra. This combined with its dimensions makes it feel “truly feather-light.” However, he did point out a potential drawback: “With a large 6.7-inch display, the S25 Edge is a little hard to hold in one hand. Though it’s amazing Samsung has crammed all the componentry into the shrunken body, one thing it can’t slim down is the cameras. The dual rear lenses poke out the top right corner of the phone, causing it to tip the device a little unless you’re holding on with two paws.”
