This new moniker follows Shiloh's legal steps to alter her name. It was reported that Shiloh filed to legally drop "Pitt" from her last name, Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt, on her 18th birthday in May 2024. A legal ruling last year had already permitted her to go by Shiloh Jolie. This change underscores a significant personal decision for the teenager.

Shiloh's involvement in the arts, particularly dance, is not new. Angelina Jolie has previously spoken about her daughter's passion for dance and performance. Choreographer Kolanie Marks, who has worked with Shiloh, shared a video in August showcasing her developing dance skills, noting her commitment to the craft.
