KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — Streets were blocked in Kalamazoo after a semi-truck crashed into a power pole, police said.
It happened around 11:13 a.m. at the intersection of Park Street and Balch Street on Kalamazoo’s Southside. When the truck crashed, it brought down the pole and power lines, the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety said.
Northbound Park Street at Howard Street and Westbound Balch Street at Burdick Street were blocked after the crash. KDPS helped with traffic control.
The crash caused traffic light outages in the area as well, KDPS said.
