Accra, July 08, GNA – With immediate effect, all visitors and stakeholders are required to access the parliamentary precincts through the ceremonial gate, located opposite the Accra International Conference Center (AICC)
Upon arrival, visitors will be directed to the visitors’ center for processing, verification, and confirmation of the purpose of their visit.
“This measure is designed to maintain order in the operational flow of the parliamentary precincts,” a statement issued by the Media Relations Department and copied to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) has said.
Speaker of Parliament Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin has introduced the new directive to bolster security and streamline visitor management at the Parliament House.
The statement said, “The directive is intended to “enhance security, streamline visitor management, and maintain order in the operational flow of the parliamentary precincts.”
The statement urged all visitors to comply with this new procedure to ensure a smooth and secure experience.
“We entreat all visitors and stakeholders to adhere to this new directive, which is aimed at improving the overall security and efficiency of Parliament House. By doing so, we can ensure a safe and organized environment for everyone involved,” it urged.
