Samsung partners Warner Bros and DC Studios for new Superman movie: All details - The Times of India
Samsung Electronics has announced a global partnership with Warner Bros. and DC Studios to celebrate the latest "Superman" film with fan activations, themed video content, and limited-edition digital artworks. The collaboration coincides with the worldwide theatrical release of "Superman," the first film in DC Studios’ new cinematic universe. Written, directed, and produced by James Gunn, the movie's release is being marked by Samsung with a global campaign under the tagline "It’s not just big. It’s super big." This campaign will feature a range of video content celebrating the original Super Hero, integrating him into Samsung’s product promotions. The digital artworks from DC Comics will be available via Samsung Art Store.
Commenting on Samsung’s new Superman campaign, Hun Lee, the company’s executive VP of the Visual Display Business, said: “Samsung is committed to creating a richer and more meaningful entertainment experience. Through collaborations with leading creative studios and artists, we continue to help people engage more deeply with the stories and characters they love, whether in the theatre or at home.”
Samsung's campaign will begin in London, UK, with a series of Daily Planet-themed newsstand kiosks at busy locations like The Shard and King's Cross Station. Visitors will be able to collect Superman-themed merchandise, receive exclusive gifts, and take part in a global social media challenge by sharing event photos or videos for a chance to win prizes, including a 98-inch Samsung TV.Interactive activations will also be set up in key malls across Asia — including locations in Malaysia, Vietnam, and Korea — featuring Superman-themed photo booths, pop-up displays, and hands-on product demonstrations.In addition, Samsung Art Store is offering a 10-piece Superman digital art collection from DC Comics at no cost to users until August 31. This collection is available on The Frame and 2025 QLED and Neo QLED TV models, giving users a new way to enjoy Superman-inspired artwork at home.Samsung’s Super Big TV range includes 98-inch, 100-inch, and 115-inch class screen options in Neo QLED and Crystal UHD models. With expanded displays, detailed picture quality, and AI-powered features that support improved motion and contrast, the company aims to deliver a more engaging home viewing experience.
