This morning, Russia’s defence ministry reported that Ukrainian shelling damaged a power line in the Bryansk region, leading to an outage. The ministry also claimed that Ukrainian drones targeted an electricity substation in the same area the previous evening.
“Continuing deliberate attacks by Ukraine against Russian energy facilities show that the Kyiv regime is totally incapable of keeping any commitments related to conflict settlement in Ukraine,” the Russian defence ministry said.
Meanwhile, in Ukraine, Oleh Sunehubov, head of the Kharkiv regional administration, reported that Russian shelling had left multiple settlements without power. Speaking to Ukrainian television, he said emergency workers had managed to restore electricity to nearly 2,000 households “despite the constant danger.”
In the Zaporizhzhia region, local administration head Ivan Fedorov confirmed that part of the village of Kushuhum also suffered a power outage due to a Russian attack.
