Rock Powerhouse Collaboration: Dexter Holland of The Offspring Joins Electric Callboy for 'Let the Good Times Roll'

Electric Callboy has officially released their new single, “Let the Good Times Roll,” featuring Dexter Holland of The Offspring. This track serves as the latest preview for their highly anticipated forthcoming album, TANZNEID, which is scheduled for release on August 7. The song perfectly encapsulates Electric Callboy’s signature genre-blurring electronicore style, characterized by a dynamic fusion of metalcore breakdowns, vibrant, glowstick-ready techno drops, and undeniably catchy, grin-inducing pop hooks. This unique sound is further elevated by the inclusion of Holland’s unmistakable tenor, a voice renowned for iconic hits such as “Come Out and Play,” which topped the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart in 1994, and “Self Esteem,” which peaked at No. 4 on the same chart.

This collaboration holds profound significance for the German band, as they openly acknowledge The Offspring as a foundational influence on their musical journey. Electric Callboy expressed their sentiment, stating, “The Offspring have been one of the bands that shaped us from the very beginning. Their music was part of our lives long before Electric Callboy even existed, so having Dexter on this song honestly feels surreal.” Dexter Holland reciprocated this enthusiasm, commenting, “When Electric Callboy sent us the track, it immediately put a grin on our faces. It’s energetic, unpredictable and doesn’t take itself too seriously — exactly the kind of spirit we’ve always loved about punk and rock music. I had a blast being part of ‘Let the Good Times Roll.’”

The release of “Let the Good Times Roll” coincides with the commencement of Electric Callboy’s European festival season. The band is slated for major appearances at prominent festivals, including Rock am Ring and Rock im Park, both taking place this week. Following their European engagements, the TANZNEID World Tour will extend its reach to Australia in September. This Australian leg, presented by Destroy All Lines, will feature special guest performances by Ice Nine Kills and Coldrain. The tour kicks off at RAC Arena in Perth on September 4, followed by a show at AEC Arena in Adelaide on September 6, Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne on September 8, Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney on September 10, and two dates at Riverstage in Brisbane on September 12 and 13. Notably, the September 12 date in Brisbane is already sold out. Tickets for the tour are currently available for purchase via destroyalllines.com.

Formed in Germany in 2010, Electric Callboy has steadily risen to prominence, establishing themselves as one of heavy music’s most genre-defying global acts. Their ascent has been fueled by a string of viral hits, including “Hypa Hypa,” “We Got the Moves,” and “RATATATA,” which featured BABYMETAL. Their previous album, TEKKNO, released in 2022, garnered immense success, accumulating hundreds of millions of streams worldwide. The upcoming album, TANZNEID, is presently available for pre-order. Additionally, fans can watch the official video for “Let The Good Times Roll.”
