Road to 2027: Makinde Secures APM Presidential Ticket

Oyo State governor, Seyi Makinde, has officially emerged as the presidential candidate for the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) in the upcoming 2027 general election. This significant development follows the conclusion of the party’s meticulous nomination process and is poised to reshape the political landscape as various parties intensify their preparations for the next national polls.

Governor Makinde was formally presented with his Certificate of Return by the National Chairman of the APM, Alhaji Yusuf Dantali.
