Rick Springfield has a sense of humor!
The 80’s rocker made an appearance on “Today” where host Craig Melvin made a sleepy confession.
The “Jessie’s Girl” singer was live in the studio answering a question about the iconic song from Melvin, Al Roker and Jill Martin when Rick got distracted by Melvin yawning. In fact, the group was just 90 seconds into the interview when Melvin began yawning off camera as Springfield gave his answer, “Am I boring you?” he asks the host.
A visibly embarrassed Melvin assured Springfield that he wasn’t bored, “Not at all, Rick. I apologize.”
This led the two of them to have a moment of laughter about the situation, “It’s early, don’t worry about it,” Springfield commented. “I’ll yawn too.”
