Published 1 week ago1 minute read

Some 2003-2020 Toyota Prius, Prius C, Prius V, 2007-2020 Camry hybrid, 2006-2019 Highlander Hybrid, 2013-2020 Avalon Hybrid, 2016-2020 Mirai and RAV 4 Hybrid, and 2020 Corolla Hybrid vehicles may exhibit a MIL on with DTCs P0A80/P1AC000 and/or P0A7F/P1A8000 stored due to dust or debris buildup in the HV battery cooling fan and/or HV cooling filter.

When DTC P0A80/P1AC000 are stored, replace the HV battery and intake filter. And make sure the fam is clean. Do not attempt to clean the HV cooling fan while it is installed. Doing so may cause dust/debris to enter the battery case. Failure to secure the fan blades while cleaning the HV battery cooling fan assembly may result in electronic circuit failure due to overturning.
