Renuka Shahane reveals that Ashutosh Rana married her because their spiritual Guru chose her as 'bahu', she married him because she wanted kids | Hindi Movie News - Times of India
Ashutosh Rana and Renuka Shahane make a wonderful couple and the duo serve an inspiration to many with their partnership. While they were dating each other for three years, they were scared to tie the knot. However, they eventually got married as Rana's guruji suggested so and told him that he has found a 'bahu'.
Renuka and Ashutosh both have been in the industry for so many years and known for their powerful performances in a number of projects.Renuka opened up on their married in an interview on Gauahar Khan’s podcast, MaaNoranjan. She said, "Although, Rana ji and I are very much in love with each other, we were also happy with our own independent lives. And, marriage is quite a scary proposition. Being in the public eye and then two of us getting married at the peak of our careers can be difficult.
One feels that nothing should go wrong, not just in the relationship, but even when you are into the marriage, you don’t want anything bad to happen.
"Further revealing the reason why they got married, the 'Hum Aapke Hai Koun...' actor said, "The only reason why Rana ji got married to me was because of his spiritual guru, he told him to. While we were dating, his guruji told him that I have chosen a bahu for you. He was scared, who is this person? He didn’t know that guruji was talking about me only.
Guruji said that she is a good girl, you should ask for her hand."She added, "Rana ji was clueless, but he actually did tell this to my mother. My mom was very shocked. She said, ‘Guruji ne bataaya islie aap karahe hain ya aapko sach mein karni hai (You are marrying her because guruji said so or you really want to marry her)?'”Renuka though, had her own reasons to say yes. She said, "But, I got married only because I wanted kids. I was very happy because my idea of having a stable family background for my kids was very clear in my head. Rana ji being a very family oriented person, you want the father of your child to be like that.”
