Puerto Rican superstar Rauw Alejandro captivated over 40,000 fans with a free concert dubbed 'Noche Caribeña' on December 13 at Parque Eugenio María de Hostos in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Following his successful Cosa Nuestra tour, the event was a heartfelt gift to his fans, featuring an impressive lineup of local stars including Toño Rosario, Wilfrido Vargas, NTG, Dalvin La Melodía, YK It’s Junaa, J Noa, Jezzy, Jey One, and Saso. The night's grand finale included a surprise appearance by Puerto Rican rapper Clarent, solidifying Alejandro's gratitude to Santo Domingo for a memorable Caribbean Night.
The Latin Grammy Cultural Foundation announced the prestigious 2026 Noel Schajris Scholarship, sponsored by Argentine singer-songwriter and pianist Noel Schajris. This Prodigy Scholarship is designed to support a bachelor's degree at Berklee College of Music, covering tuition, housing, and comprehensive services valued at up to $250,000 for the fall semester. Schajris expressed his deep belief in the power of education and the joy of enabling aspiring musicians, stating, “There is nothing more beautiful than learning, nor anything more important than education.” Raquel “Rocky” Egusquiza, Executive Director of the Foundation, lauded the continuous generosity of artists in fostering the legacy and future creators of Latin music.
