Raptors Unleash Historic 31-0 Run to Pummel Magic

The Toronto Raptors dominated the Orlando Magic, winning 139-87 on Sunday, and the Magic have now lost seven of their last eight games.
Toronto also set a record with a 31-0 run in the first half—the longest streak without reply in NBA history since 1997-98, according to ESPN.
Toronto came back strong after trailing early, going on a 27-2 run that crushed Orlando, and the Magic had a brief lead, but sloppy passing cost them, 12 first-quarter turnovers gave the Raptors easy points.
By the end, Toronto turned 28 turnovers into 37 points, dominating the game.
Orlando’s offense went cold early, unable to get a basket from Paolo Banchero from 5:30 in the first quarter until he finally scored with 9:42 left in the second.
Even with 31 baskets overall, the Magic couldn’t keep up with Toronto’s relentless attack, and their struggles were clear the entire game.
Key players for the Raptors contributed significantly to their most one-sided victory of the season.
RJ Barrett led the scoring with 24 points, while Scottie Barnes added 23 points, and dished out a career-high 15 assists, showcasing his versatile playmaking.
The commanding win allowed the Raptors to maintain their fifth-place position in the Eastern Conference standings.
On the injury front, Raptors Forward Brandon Ingram was sidelined for the second time in four games due to a sore right heel.
He was joined by Collin Murray-Boyles, who was out with back spasms, and Immanuel Quickley, who missed the game due to a right foot issue. The Associated Press provided contributions to this report.
