Rapper's Wild Confession: Fat Joe Claims Taliban Invited Him to Shoot Rockets!

Fat Joe, the renowned Bronx rapper, recently shared one of the most astonishing and surreal moments of his illustrious career. During the December 2 episode of his "Joe and Jada" podcast, co-hosted with Jadakiss and featuring comedian Bill Bellamy, Joe recounted a chilling invitation he received from alleged members of the Taliban while performing in Lebanon. The trio's discussion on the unpredictable nature of international travel set the stage for Joe's gripping tale.

Recalling the incident, Fat Joe described returning to his hotel in Lebanon after a show. There, he was approached by three men who stood up in a "synchronized" manner. They conveyed a cryptic message: "The guys, they wanna shoot rockets with you." When Joe inquired about the identity of "the guys," the response was stark and immediately raised alarm bells: "'The Taliban, they love you,'" he was told. Joe humorously described his physical reaction but emphasized the gravity of the situation, stating, "My a**hole got this tight, okay," and clarifying that it was "no f***ing bullshit. The real Taliban came through and was like, 'Yo, shoot rockets?'"

Faced with this unexpected and unsettling proposition, Fat Joe promptly declined the invitation. His immediate instinct was to leave the country. He rushed upstairs to pack his bags and headed straight for the airport at one in the morning. However, his escape was not without further tension. The flight was significantly delayed, not taking off until 10 o'clock the following morning. Joe described the harrowing experience of spending the entire night at the airport, "shook to death," believing something catastrophic was imminent.

While Fat Joe did not specify the exact year of the incident, he has performed in Lebanon on multiple occasions, including appearances at Beirut's Pier 7 nightclub in both 2011 and 2012. The alleged encounter occurred following one of these performances. Reflecting on the event, Joe admitted, "We really thought something was about to happen. That was one of those nights I’ll never forget." This extraordinary account underscores the unexpected and sometimes dangerous realities that can accompany global travel for high-profile figures.
