As director Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana gears up to become Indian cinema’s most ambitious two-part saga, the spotlight has dramatically shifted from the story's epic scale to the epic salaries of its all-star cast. From Ranbir Kapoor’s netting a huge paycheck to play Lord Ram to Yash’s impressive fees to play the antagonist Raavan, and Sai Pallavi's modest fees, this cinematic retelling is making waves for the mega money project it is turning out to be.

Here's a look at what each actor is reportedly being paid, and how these numbers stack up against the biggest deals of their careers.

Ranbir Kapoor reportedly commands Rs 75 crore for each of the two-part epic. The actor will reportedly be taking home an estimated Rs 150 crore for the two films, making this the largest paycheck of his career. Previously, his highest fee was reported for the ambitious fantasy trilogy Brahmastra, where he starred opposite Alia Bhatt. The actor was reportedly paid between Rs 25 crore to Rs 30 crore for Brahmastra – Part One: Shiva, as per News18 and Bollywood Life. According to reports, Kapoor increased his fees to Rs 30-35 crore as an upfront fee for the movie 'Animal' and also negotiated a profit-sharing margin, the exact remuneration figures weren't disclosed. Ramayana now marks his first confirmed seven-figure payday shocker.

Kannada superstar Yash also secured a huge Rs 50 crore fee for his role as Raavan in each of the two-part epic. The actor will reportedly walk away with a total earnings of Rs 100 crore. This comes just months after reports on News18 stated last June that the star will now have the record as the highest-paid actor for a villainous role of all time with a fee of Rs 200 crore. His previous film fee for the blockbuster hits KGF and KGF 2, was said to be around Rs 30-35 crore.

Sai Pallavi as Sita

Sai Pallavi is reportedly set to earn an estimated Rs 6 crore per instalment for Ramayana, bringing her total fee to Rs 12 crore for the two-part saga. This marks a significant jump from her usual remuneration in South Indian films, which typically ranges between Rs 2.5 to Rs 3 crore. The hike reflects her growing stature and demand in Hindi cinema. Her previous highest paycheque is believed to be for the 2025 Telugu thriller Thandel, where she reportedly earned Rs 5 crore.

Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman

Sunny Deol is reportedly earning Rs 20 crore for each part of Ramayana, bringing his total fee to Rs 40 crore. This is reportedly in line with his previous remuneration for Gadar 2 (2023), which was estimated at around Rs 20 crore. The role of Lord Hanuman not only marks a major payday but also serves as a fitting addition to Deol’s legacy of larger-than-life performances.

Television star Ravi Dubey is reportedly earning between ₹Rs 2 to Rs 4 crore for his role in Ramayana. While it remains unclear whether this amount covers both instalments or just one, it already stands as his highest film-related paycheck to date, reportedly even surpassing his earnings in his television career.
