Appearing on the red carpet for “Karate Kids: Legends,” action star Jackie Chan has asked that the makers of “Rush Hour 4” get moving before he and co-star Chris Tucker get too old.

Asked about the project’s current status, he says: “I don’t know. Ask the director, ask the studio, ask the writer. Hurry up! Otherwise, Chris Tucker and me [will be] 100 years old. We’ll be old men doing Rush Hour.”

Chan added he’s still keen to do the project and to do a third film in the “Shanghai Noon” series called “Shanghai Dawn” but the script for that is still going on. [Source: Screenrant]

Chris Pine, Lily-Rose Depp, and Adria Arjona will join Cate Blanchett and Léa Seydoux in the sci-fi comedy “Alpha Gang” from the Zellner brothers (“Sasquatch Sunset”). The tro replace the likes of Channing Tatum, Riley Keough, Steven Yeun, and Zoë Kravitz who were all attached but are now out due to shooting delays.

The story centers on a group of alien invaders disguised as a leather-clad biker gang from the 1950s. Sent to conquer Earth, their plans are complicated when they begin to experience human emotions. No filming date has yet been set. [Source: World of Reel]

Amazon Prime Video has released a new trailer promoting their line-up of original shows and movies with much of the footage being of already released titles. Buried within there though is some first look footage as well for titles like the Charlie Cox-led rom-com film “Merv,” to new series like “The Better Sister”.

The most high-profile footage though is the very first glimpses of Nicole Kidman and Jamie Lee Curtis in “Scarpetta,” the TV series adaptation of Patricia Cornwell’s novels about Virginia medical examiner Kay Scarpetta. The show hasn’t set a date as yet but already has a second season renewal.

A few seconds of footage is out from Kogonada’s “A Big Bold Beautiful Journey” starring Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell. The short clip is a tease for the film’s first trailer which will arrive online on Tuesday.

The story follows two people who go on a magical journey by entering doorways that transport them to their pasts. “A Big Bold Beautiful Journey” opens in cinemas on September 19th.

Amazon Prime Video’s “The Boys” had some fun marketing today with a new Vought promo taking aim at Elon Musk’s recent stepping down from his position at the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). In the poster, The Deep wraps up his work at the Department of Preserving Earth (DOPE). The fifth and final season of the series hits next year.

Today, Deep wraps up his work at the Department of Preserving Earth (DOPE). It was always meant to be a 6-month gig, since he’s needed on other missions. He’d like to thank Homelander & his octo-bros, squid squad, broaccudas and brolphins for trusting him with the opportunity! pic.twitter.com/Gr7T8Z9yzM
