Queen of Style! Tiwa Savage Dazzles at Berklee in Nigeria Finale

Nigerian music icon Tiwa Savage showcased a stunning and thoughtfully curated ensemble at the Tiwa Savage Music Foundation’s Berklee in Nigeria Grand Finale Concert, held at the National Theatre Lagos. Her appearance underscored her dual prowess as a chart-topping artist and a style icon, with the outfit making a significant statement about her commitment to the foundation's mission.

Styled by Ade Owolabi, Tiwa Savage wore a bespoke two-piece set from Lisa Folawiyo Studio. The top was a striking one-shoulder crochet design, featuring vibrant stripes in coral, orange, cream, and pink. Its rich texture immediately drew attention, while the asymmetrical cut gracefully bared one arm, highlighting her prominent tattoo sleeve. The look transitioned seamlessly to the lower half with a distinct skirt. Its fitted upper section displayed navy, olive, and yellow stripes, which then dramatically opened into long, crystal-beaded fringe from the knee downwards, extending to the floor and featuring a high slit at the front. This intricate design ensured that every angle offered a new detail, from the contrasting textures to the dynamic movement inherent in the fringe.

Complementing her attire, Tiwa carried a soft yellow ruched shoulder bag, perfectly echoing the yellow hues present in her skirt. Her footwear, yellow satin mules adorned with floral details at the toe, maintained the cohesive color story. Additional embellishments included elegant silver drop earrings, stacked bracelets, and rings on both hands, adding further layers of sophistication. Her signature pixie cut remained sleek, while warm-toned makeup and a full lip provided a balanced finish against the outfit's vibrant colors.

The occasion itself was a grand celebration for the Class of 2026 of the Tiwa Savage Music Foundation’s Berklee in Nigeria program. This initiative represents a profound investment in African music education, fostering young Nigerian musical talent. Tiwa Savage’s intentional and meticulously chosen outfit for this event served as a powerful testament to the seriousness and dedication she brings to the foundation’s vital work in nurturing the next generation of artists.
