Purp wins Nigerian Idol season 10, takes home N30m, SUV - TheCable Lifestyle
The talented singer secured victory after a fierce showdown with fellow finalist Raymu, with both contestants delivering powerful performances that highlighted their vocal prowess, stage presence, and emotional connection with the audience.
After weeks of intense competition, Purp, born Anu Agosa Fadoju, emerged victorious by earning the highest number of public votes.
Hosted by renowned media personality IK Osakioduwa, the grand finale was packed with show-stopping performances, celebrity appearances, and touching moments celebrating the journey of this season’s contestants.
The judging panel, comprising Omawumi, Ric Hassani, and Iyanya, was joined by special guest judge 9ice, with all four commending the top two finalists for their resilience, artistry, and growth throughout the competition.
Speaking after the win, Purp said: “This moment feels surreal. I’m so grateful to everyone who voted, supported, and believed in me. This is just the beginning, and I can’t wait to share more music with the world.”
As the winner of Nigerian Idol season 10, Purp takes home an impressive prize package, including N30 million in cash, a brand-new SUV, a DStv Explora with a one-year premium subscription, and a music recording deal.
