Job Title: Project Expert - Sales

Purpose and Objective:   

SAP International, Inc. seeks a Project Expert - Sales at our Miami, FL location to participate, oversee, and execute strategic initiatives, transformational programs and projects for the Chief Operating Officer, as well pre-sales (SAP Solution Advisory) for the region.  

Expectations and Tasks:  

Lead the day-to-day operations and rhythm of the business for the team and organization to ensure high-performance, quality and standards aligned to the regional priorities and strategy. Lead teams responsible for go-to-market, strategic engagements, organizational setups, implementation of global programs at the regional level and regional projects for the LAC CBO Organization comprised of Regional Teams, Market Unit and Line-of-Business teams. Leads the team and organization by designing and developing regional strategic initiatives that impact customer and non-customer facing engagements, managing the portfolio of initiatives and special projects, including end-to-end implementation for the sales support organization. Ensures that goals and milestones are met, and approved budgets are managed appropriately. Ensures business critical and innovative results. Manages escalation appropriately. Plan, execute, support and monitor customer engagements in the region with global and regional leadership, including detailed follow-up actions with internal stakeholders until resolution, to promote executive relationship building and ensure customer satisfaction. Builds strategic partnerships with key decision makers. Formulates clear plans including milestones, timeline and workstreams. Communicates messages in a timely manner and with constructive feedback to engagement stakeholders. Captures opinions and expectations of executives and stakeholder. Support Go-to-Market planning, strategic engagements, organizational setups, design goal and performance frameworks, monitor goal and performance, develop analytics and insights, design compensation frameworks. Provide analysis and input with a regional perspective in the development of SAP's go-to-market, strategy, direction, enablement, operation, tools and reporting to global stakeholders and align with regional leadership the adoption of these global plans. Liaise with Finance, Controlling, HR, Marketing, Business Operations and Sales leadership in the execution of initiatives and programs. Responsible for budget planning, execution and monitoring, leveraging SAP's ERP for key initiatives of the sales support organization ensuring adherence to targets. Engage in the budget execution phase, vendors through SAP's Ariba system (procurement software) to ensure compliance of internal process, and procedures in the procurement of goods, services, tools and systems required by the organizations. 

Education and Occupational Experience:  

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field of study and seven (7) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. 

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:  

Experience must involve five (5) years in the following:  

Experience must also involve three (3) years in the following: 

  • Go-to-Market Framework Design, Analysis, Planning, and Implementation for IT companies. 

Travel: Position requires up to 20% domestic or international travel to various and unanticipated customer sites.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $181,251 - $278,035. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $192,300 - $327,100. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
