President Tinubu's Robust Return: Healthy and Ready for Duty After European Sojourn

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has returned to Nigeria after concluding a four-week working vacation in Europe. His trip, which commenced on August 30, involved spending time in London before proceeding to Paris, France. Upon his arrival at the Presidential Wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, at approximately 6:22 p.m. local time, President Tinubu declared himself healthy and fully prepared to resume his official duties.

Speaking with journalists shortly after his touchdown, President Tinubu explicitly dismissed any health concerns that had arisen towards the end of his stay abroad. He firmly stated, “I’m ready to kick, ready to walk. There’s nothing wrong.” He further elaborated, “Rumour will always be emanating from politics, but the facts remain I’m here. Healthy, sound, and ready to go.”

The President’s arrival in Lagos was met by several dignitaries, including Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu. His return was also confirmed by his Special Assistant on Social Media, Olusegun Dada, who posted “Landing. Welcome home Mr President!” on X. The Presidency had earlier characterized his time overseas as a productive working vacation.
