Pop Sensation Fifth Harmony Shocks Fans With Unexpected Reunion Performance

Fifth Harmonyhas officially reunited, much to the delight of their global fanbase. On Sunday, August 31, the acclaimed girl group — now consisting of Ally Brooke, Normani, Lauren Jauregui, and Dinah Jane, following Camila Cabello’s departure in late 2016 — made a surprise return to the stage after a seven-year hiatus. The momentous occasion took place during theJonas Brothers’ JONAS20:Greetings from Your Hometown tour stop at the Dos Equis Pavilion in Dallas, Texas.
Dressed in striking all-black attire, the four members delivered a powerful performance of their 2015 smash hit “Worth It,” a track that famously peaked at No. 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The highly anticipated performance was also streamed live on Samsung TV Plus, allowing fans beyond the venue to witness the reunion. Normani addressed the enthusiastic crowd, asking, “Y’all remember Fifth Harmony?”, a question met with resounding cheers.

Speculation about a potential reunion had been circulating for months, reaching a fever pitch in the hours leading up to the performance. Fifth Harmony’s official X (formerly Twitter) account had posted for the first time in seven years earlier that day with the hashtag “#FifthHarmonyFollowSpree,” immediately sparking theories among Harmonizers that something significant was imminent. These rumors had been fueled earlier in March when Ally Brooke and Dinah Jane hinted at the possibility during an interview at the 2024 Billboard Women in Music event.
Brooke stated, “We’ll see… we’re not sure,” while Jane added, “I love that our fans can reminisce on such good times and I love that we’re getting the credit again. Our music was very impactful at the time and I feel like it was kind of overlooked, to be honest. So now that it’s reviving again on its own it just shows our music speaks for itself.” Brooke had also subtly teased a reunion in a 2023 Billboard interview, noting, “We’re women now and we have grown so much and we have done our own thing, gone our own ways and gone our own path. And now we’re together in a different light. I’m trying to reunite with them, so I think some sort of reunion may happen.”
Fifth Harmony’s journey began in 2012 on the second season of the U.S. version of The X Factor. They quickly rose to prominence with their debut album, Reflection, released in 2015, which featured “Worth It” as their first Top 20 hit on the Billboard Hot 100. Their success continued with other chart-topping singles, including “Work From Home” featuring Ty Dolla $ign, which reached No. 4 on the Hot 100 in June 2016. In December 2016, the group announced Camila Cabello’s departure via social media, stating, “After 4 and a half years of being together, we have been informed via her representatives that Camila has decided to leave Fifth Harmony.
We wish her well.” Cabello subsequently launched a highly successful solo career, topping the Hot 100 with hits like “Havana” featuring Young Thug and “Señorita” with Shawn Mendes, and most recently releasing her 2024 album C,XOXO, which debuted at No. 13 on the Billboard 200. Fifth Harmony officially went on hiatus in 2018, with each member pursuing individual solo projects.

Following their electric performance, the group shared a video of the reunion on their Instagram, captioning it, “Where were you on August 31, 2025? Thank you @jonasbrothers for having us. Felt amazing to be back.” Ally Brooke echoed the sentiment in the comments, writing, “That was special!” Even former member Camila Cabello showed her support, appropriately posting four red heart emojis in a subtle yet heartfelt acknowledgement of her former bandmates. The Jonas Brothers also expressed their appreciation, sharing a clip of the performance on Instagram and stating, “An honor to have our friends @fifthharmony up on stage tonight in Dallas on the Greetings From Your Hometown Tour.” The reunion marks a significant moment for the group and their dedicated fanbase, reigniting interest in their impactful music and leaving the door open for future possibilities.
