Pop Powerhouse Demi Lovato Confirmed to Electrify 2026 GLAAD Media Awards Stage

The 37th annual GLAAD Media Awards, a prestigious event celebrating fair, accurate, and inclusive representations of the LGBTQ community in media, is set to feature a performance by Grammy-nominated artist Demi Lovato. The ceremony will be hosted by actor and producer Jonathan Bennett in Los Angeles on Thursday, March 5. For the sixth consecutive year, Hulu will serve as the event’s official streaming destination, with the full ceremony premiering on the platform on March 21.
Demi Lovato, a long-time advocate for LGBTQ rights, was previously honored with the GLAAD Media Vanguard Award in 2016. Their impressive musical career boasts nine top 10 albums on the Billboard 200, including "Here We Go Again" which reached No. 1 in 2009. Following their performance at the awards, Lovato is scheduled to embark on their highly anticipated "It’s Not That Deep" arena tour in April.

This year’s awards will spotlight 291 nominees across 32 diverse categories, encompassing film, television, gaming, music, podcasting, journalism, and Spanish-language media, among others. These nominations acknowledge work published, released, or broadcast during the calendar year 2025, highlighting media's crucial role in shaping cultural understanding. The event is expected to draw a host of notable personalities, including Abe Sylvia, Camila Mendes, Cara Delevingne, Claybourne Elder, Colton Underwood, Don Lemon, Eugene Daniels, George Wallace, Jessica Hargrave, Jonathan Capehart, Karolina Wydra, Kristen Wiig, Lauren Chan, Laverne Cox, Lili Reinhart, Mason Blomberg, Megan Falley, Melissa Fumero, Miles Heizer, Mindy Cohn, Paul Feig, Rhea Seehorn, Rob Mac, Ryan White, Scott Hoying & Mark Hoying, Stef Willen, Stephanie Beatriz, Tig Notaro, Tom Daley, Tonatiuh, and various cast and creatives from "Heated Rivalry."
