Political Earthquake Predicted: Peter Obi Holds 40%+ Key for 2027 Elections, Says PDP Chieftain

Dan Ulasi, a prominent chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), recently offered a significant assessment of Peter Obi's political influence ahead of the 2027 presidential election. Speaking on Arise Television’s Morning Show, Ulasi asserted that any political party aligning with Peter Obi would inherently command a substantial portion of the votes, potentially exceeding 40 percent.

Ulasi attributed this considerable electoral advantage to Obi’s established credibility and his widespread support base across Nigeria. He emphasized that Obi's political weight is undeniable, irrespective of the specific platform he might choose for the upcoming election cycle. The PDP chieftain noted the current ambiguity surrounding Obi's political affiliation, recalling his previous presidential bid under the Labour Party and his attendance at an ADC luncheon, which raised questions about his future platform.

Expressing a personal desire, Ulasi stated his happiness if Peter Obi were to join the PDP. He articulated that Obi’s credibility would be a significant asset to the party, especially as it undergoes a process of reorganization. According to Ulasi, Peter Obi is not an unknown entity in Nigerian politics; rather, he is a well-recognized figure whose presence on any party's ticket would immediately translate into a strong electoral footing, garnering "more than 30, 40% of the election" due to his "tremendous support across this country."
