Following a strong and courageous seven-year battle with cancer, has been reunited with her beloved daughter Nicole and is now worshipping with her at the feet of Jesus. Phyllis Ann left this world for her heavenly home on Thursday, July 3, 2025, with her loving family by her side.

Mrs. Fox was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby Gene and Martha Neil Fox Robinette; her mother-in-law, Jean “Sissy” Fox; her father-in-law, Rommie Fox; and her daughter, Nicole LeAnn Fox Moore.

Phyllis Ann retired from the Alexander County School System after 31 years as the Data Manager at Hiddenite Elementary School. She enjoyed working with children and left a lasting impact on them, as many kept in touch with her long after she retired. Phyllis Ann was a member of Stony Point Baptist Church and truly loved all her friends in the Christian Crusader Sunday School Class. Her hobbies included spending time with her family, making gifts and cards with messages of love and encouragement for others, reading a good book on the beach, and taking walks with her two grand dogs, Harper and Mocha. Harper was her loyal companion, friend, and protector during her illness.

Her sweetheart since eighth grade, Dale Fox, became her husband on August 12, 1977, and they have been married for 47 years. She is survived by Dale, her daughter, Hannah Brooke Fox of Stony Point, her son-in-law Jeremy Moore, wife Lindsey, and sons Turner, Levi and Rhett Moore of Franklinton, N.C., her sister Susan Robinette DeJarnette of Stony Point, her sister-in-law, Regina Fox Shook of Statesville, her nieces Kayla DeJarnette Gibson (Matthew) and Camila Shook McKinney (Andrew), nephew Cody Shook (Kayla), great-nephews Cason, Cade, and Creighton Shook, and many lifelong friends who were more like family to her.

The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 6, 2025, at Stony Point Baptist Church Lindsey Hall in Stony Point. Pastor Jamie Fox will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 3 p.m. prior to the service.

Pallbearers include Chad Cockrell, Colby Cockrell, Parker Downs, Matthew Gibson, Jeremy Moore, and Kendall Sipe. Honorary pallbearers are Turner Moore, Levi Moore, Rhett Moore, Cason Shook, Cade Shook, and Creighton Shook.
