Over 200 women convened at the Exhibition Pavilion in Abuja for the Live Again Outreach, a significant intervention and advocacy program spearheaded by the Live Again Foundation. This event, part of its flagship 'Mission 10,000' campaign, represents a bold commitment to empower 10,000 women who have endured abuse, trauma, and systemic neglect, guiding them towards a purposeful and profitable life. With a comprehensive focus on gender-based violence (GBV) advocacy, emotional healing, mental and physical restoration, and economic empowerment, the outreach delivered an extraordinary day that profoundly impacted various facets of the attendees' lives.

Women from across Abuja, many arriving in states of brokenness and hopelessness, departed feeling renewed, refueled, and reawakened. At the heart of the transformative event was the compelling testimony of Enifome Ogbimi, the Founder of the Live Again Foundation. A GBV survivor herself, now a renowned transformational coach, Ogbimi shared her raw and honest journey of abuse and her subsequent healing process, providing a powerful blueprint for women to transition from pain to purpose and ultimately to profit. Her message deeply resonated with the audience, as she passionately encouraged them to transform their wounds into wisdom and their past experiences into a platform for positive impact.

The atmosphere throughout the day was electric, charged not only with profound emotion but also with immense possibility. Global storyteller and mindset coach, Naomi Osemedua, led an impactful session titled “Shedding the Labels,” urging participants to actively dismantle limiting beliefs, unlearn societal conditioning, and courageously step into powerful, new identities. Following this, vocal empowerment coach Halima Oyelade ignited the audience with her session, “Finding Your Voice Again,” fostering confidence and clarity among women who had long felt silenced. Further contributing to the day’s educational component, human rights lawyer Mojirayo Ogunlana enlightened attendees about the VAPP Act and emphasized the critical importance of understanding their rights as women. Rantiade Benson Idahosa facilitated a deeply therapeutic conversation focused on healing generational trauma, skillfully weaving together elements of faith, psychology, and strategic approaches into a profoundly healing experience.

The Live Again Outreach extended its support beyond the mind and soul, also reaching the body. Attendees benefited from a range of tangible services, including massage therapy, professional makeovers, personalized coaching, one-on-one therapy sessions, and vital legal aid provided by the Lex Initiative for Rights, Advocacy and Development (LIRAD). Additionally, participants received practical support in the form of donated clothes, sanitary items, accessories, and wellness packages, ensuring that the healing extended beyond words to encompass concrete care. A particularly moving reflective and prayer session, facilitated by Pastor Evelyn Nwankwo, Senior Pastor of Dominion City Headquarters Abuja, offered participants a sacred space to release emotional burdens and embrace healing from within.

The event garnered significant support and recognition from both local and international institutions. Patience Ekeoba, National Program Specialist for UN Women, commended the Live Again Foundation for its strategic alignment with key Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 3, 5, and 10, which promote good health and well-being, gender equality, and reduced inequalities, respectively. The Mandate Secretary for the Women Affairs Secretariat, Honourable Dayo Benjamins-Laniyi, ably represented by Mrs. Kemi Samuels, shared a heartfelt personal story of loss and resilience, and lauded the Live Again Foundation for its exemplary execution and unwavering dedication to restoring dignity to women. The collective efforts demonstrated at the Live Again Outreach Abuja underscore a powerful commitment to fostering healing, empowerment, and lasting change for women in the community.
