PF's Nakacinda Surrenders for 18-Month Jail Term After High Court Upholds Conviction!

Patriotic Front (PF) Secretary General, Raphael Nakacinda, faces imminent arrest following a decision by the Lusaka High Court to uphold his 18-month conviction. A bench warrant has been issued for his arrest, compelling him to serve the imprisonment term. Nakacinda was convicted for defamation of the President after he falsely alleged that President Hakainde Hichilema was coercing judges. His allegations claimed that the President was influencing judges to derail the PF’s legal cases and, furthermore, to establish a one-party state. This ruling solidifies the earlier conviction, leading to the current legal proceedings for his apprehension.
