Peter Obi's Outcry Rocks Remi Tinubu's 65th Birthday as Sanwo-Olu Joins Celebrations

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, extended warm felicitations to Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on the occasion of her 65th birthday. Describing her as a compassionate and strong-willed individual, Governor Sanwo-Olu highlighted her role as a steadfast pillar of support to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, particularly through the Renewed Hope Initiative. This initiative, he noted, has positively impacted millions of Nigerians, showcasing her selfless dedication to public service since President Tinubu assumed office on May 29, 2023. The Governor, through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Gboyega Akosile, expressed Lagos State's pride in celebrating Senator Tinubu, acknowledging her dedicated service to the state as First Lady for eight years and as a distinguished member of the Senate for 12 years.
Sanwo-Olu further commended Senator Tinubu for her tireless efforts in addressing the needs of women and children through various empowerment programmes and projects. He specifically praised the Renewed Hope Initiative for providing significant relief and support to families nationwide. In his congratulatory message, Governor Sanwo-Olu, along with his wife Ibijoke, and the people of Lagos State, celebrated Senator Oluremi Tinubu as a great ambassador for the state, commending her unblemished record in both private and public offices, her kindness, advocacy for social justice, and philanthropic endeavours. He concluded with a prayer for God's continued guidance, good health, and increased strength for her to further serve humanity and Nigeria.

While joining in wishing Mrs. Tinubu a happy birthday, Obi expressed shock and viewed her request as an indictment of Nigeria's misplaced priorities. He described the request as
