Published 4 days ago2 minute read

Peachtree City’s Fourth of July celebration is getting exciting new additions to the highly-anticipated community event. The 2025 Independence Day festivities will include enhanced music, expanded food, and a larger sense of community spirit than ever.

“Peachtree City’s Fourth of July celebration is always a highlight of the year, and this time, we’re taking it to a whole new level,” said Peachtree City Mayor Kim Learnard.

Among the newest features is a performance by the nationally-acclaimed Georgia Mass Band, an ensemble of high school and college musicians from across the region, will be performing live at the morning parade.

In the evening, the celebration continues at Drake Field where Atlanta-based DJ Ezzy will perform a live set at the fireworks show.

Sweet treats and refreshments will also be in abundance at both the parade and fireworks show. Food vendors include Sweet Sensations, Little Miss Juicy, and Jeremiah’s Ice- all of which will be stationed at Lake Peachtree to provide delicious and refreshing options throughout the day.

This year’s parade will be led by Grand Marshals Frank and Sandi Destadio. Frank Destadio, a U.S. Air Force veteran and longtime civic leader in Peachtree City, will be honored for his service.

“Our Fourth of July celebration brings neighbors together, and we’re raising the bar even higher this year,” stated City Manager Justin Strickland. “From adding a marching band during the morning parade to incredible live music, food trucks, and an amazing fireworks show in the evening, we’re creating a day that families and friends will remember. We can’t wait to see the community come out and enjoy everything Peachtree City offers.”
