Papa Lefty: Radio Host's Family Worried as He Remains Missing After Saba Saba Protests

Papa Lefty had hit the streets and joined other Kenyans in protesting against police brutality and the murder of blogger Albert Ojwang, who had been killed in police custody.

Many Kenyans were on the streets on that day to honour the historic Saba Saba, which had coincided with Albert's death.

His brother, Andrew Wandera, spoke to and revealed his phone has been off since the Saba Saba day.

"Felix went missing on Monday, July 7. We have not seen him nor heard from him. His phone has been off since that day. The family is dejected. We are looking for him," Andrew shared with

The young man also appealed to anyone with information that could help in the search to reach out to them:

"We will truly appreciate any support that could help us in the search," he added.

Papa Lefty was a radio host at Top Radio in Rongai, Kajiado county. He was a Rhumba host at the station and also a student at Kabete National Polytechnic.
