Palace Fury! Kensington Denies William's Royal Title Threat
Kensington Palace has vehemently denied recent claims suggesting that Prince William threatened to re-examine the royal titles of his cousins, Princess Beatrice and Eugenie. The allegations, put forth by former BBC journalist Emily Maitlis, who famously interviewed Prince Andrew in 2019, asserted that William sought to pressure the princesses into convincing their father, Prince Andrew, to vacate Royal Lodge.
Maitlis, speaking on her 'News Agents' podcast, alleged that a meeting took place last week between Prince William and the two princesses. According to her account, William warned them that if they failed to persuade Andrew to leave his 30-room Windsor residence, their own titles could be at risk.
