Osas Ighodaro Joins Star-Studded Cast in New Global Action-Comedy 'Boyz Trip'

Nigerian Actress, Executive Producer, and all-round powerhouse Osas Ighodaro is officially expanding her talents to Cape Town, joining the cast of the upcoming action-comedy film, “Boyz Trip.”
She known for her vibrant presence and often seen with voluminous, red-tinted kinky-coily hair and distinct fashion choices, is set to contribute to what is shaping up to be a significant cross-continental cinematic event.
“Boyz Trip,” currently filming in Cape Town, South Africa, is directed by Kyle Scott.
The narrative centers on four college friends whose annual getaway takes an unexpected turn into international chaos, forcing the group to rely on their long-standing bonds and, at times, questionable skills to navigate and survive the unfolding events.
This premise promises a blend of thrilling action and comedic elements set against an international backdrop.
The film boasts an impressive and diverse ensemble cast, reflecting a broad cross-continental reach.
Alongside Osas Ighodaro, the cast includes notable actors such as Rome Flynn, Algee Smith, and Desi Banks. South African talent is also prominently featured with Siv Ngesi.
The lineup is further strengthened by the addition of Woody McClain from 'Power Book II: Ghost', Hakeem Kae-Kazim known for 'Hotel Rwanda',Peter Lee, and Producer Honorable C.N.O.T.E.
The international scope continues with Ama Qamata, Thapelo Mokoena, Bohang Moeko, Ama K. Abebrese, Alessandra Fuller, and Francisca Aronsson.
This production is being framed as a definitive cross-over event, seamlessly merging influences from various global film industries, including Nollywood, Hollywood, and beyond.
Producer Autumn Bailey-Ford emphasized this global approach, stating, "We are excited to finally round out this cast.
This is truly going to be a global project, as we have talent from London, Nollywood, South Africa, Korea, and America all coming together."
With Emmy-nominated composers Kareem James and Marcus Ash handling the film's score, and production spearheaded by KeyScott Entertainment, Canyon View Media, and Autumn Bailey Entertainment, “Boyz Trip” is positioning itself as one of the major releases to look forward to in 2026, promising a unique blend of international talent and storytelling.
