– A group of private sector operators have lauded the positive role played by the former Minister of State for Steel Development now Minister of State for Regional Development, Uba Maigari Ahmadu, for his dedication, commitment and contributions to national development.

 The businesses, Prime Next Logistics, Goldmine Global Services Limited and ATREX Global Procurement Company Limited in collaboration with its business partners, recently honoured Ahmadu for his role in driving private sector investment.

Speaking, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO),Goldmine Global Services Limited and President of the Nigerian-Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NICCI), Ishmael Balogun, thanked Ahmadu for his exemplary service to the steel and metal sector when he served as Minister of State for Steel Development. He said even in his new role as Minister of State for Regional Development, his passion for regional and economic development remains unabated and assured the minister of their support as he fosters economic development.

In his address, the minister expressed gratitude for the honour and reaffirmed his commitment to continually serve the private sector and the country.

Also speaking, CEO, Primenext Logistics, Giorgio Del Celo, commended Ahmadu for his open-arm leadership and readiness to listen to the concerns and advice of the business community, adding that the minister’s approachable demeanour and responsiveness have been pivotal in fostering more inclusive regional development in Nigeria.
