Afro-fusion sensation Omah Lay is slated to headline the inaugural Motherland Festival, scheduled to take place from December 18-20, 2025. This highly anticipated event will feature Omah Lay's only Lagos performance during the festive season, drawing significant attention from fans globally. His participation follows a monumental year, highlighted by his first Grammy nomination for the collaborative track “With You” alongside Davido. Furthermore, “With You” has been confirmed as Nigeria’s most streamed song on Spotify for the current year, underscoring Omah Lay's remarkable impact and popularity in the music industry.
The co-founders of the Motherland Festival have expressed immense enthusiasm regarding Omah Lay's involvement. In a joint statement, they highlighted their excitement that Omah Lay chose the Motherland stage for his exclusive Lagos show this December. They anticipate that fans from around the world will gather to celebrate his extraordinary year at the epicenter of Afro-fusion and Afrobeats.
