Austine Chakua Njogu has not communicated with his family or been seen by them for over a week.
The 17-year-old has been missing for 10 days since he vanished from school, leaving his family in despair.
The teenager allegedly had an altercation with one of his teachers before excusing himself to go to the washroom.
That was the last time he was seen within the school compound, and there have been no leads regarding his whereabouts.
"I was told the kid went missing on Tuesday, May 20, but after coming to the school, we discovered that he had gone missing on Wednesday, May 14. He disappeared without a trace. The school has not explained to us where the child is. We have been here since yesterday, but they are not telling us anything," said Njogu's mother, Mercy Kwamboka.
Cleophas Nchogu disclosed that Mwingori High School, where his son is enrolled, had not contacted the police about the incident.
Nchogu and his family were the first to report the disappearance of their teenage son to the police.
"In reporting to the police station, we were the first. The school has not reported that this kid has disappeared. Even we, his parents, were not informed of his disappearance, which is heartbreaking," he stated.
Njogu's aunt, Rebecca Kerubo, also expressed anger and concern over how the school handled the situation.
She could not understand why the school could not provide a detailed account of the disappearance of her young nephew.
"It is such a shame that a school like this cannot tell us the whereabouts of our loved one or where a student such as Austine might have gone. When we couldn't get answers from the school, we went to the police. We spoke to the OCS and other officers," she noted.
The family blamed the school for remaining tight-lipped about the matter, forcing them to seek answers on their own regarding the whereabouts of their Form Four son, following his alleged disagreement with the Chemistry teacher.

Similarly, a family in Nakuru county was in distress following the disappearance of their daughter.
Patience Simuyu, a student at Menengai High School who lived with her parents, went missing from school after a routine day.
The 17-year-old Form Four student's father, Japheth, told TUKO.co.ke that his daughter had a slow start at the beginning of the new term.
She went to school a day after the official opening because she was feeling unwell, as explained by her father.
She had to be taken to the hospital for a medical check-up before being cleared to attend school.
However, after going to school, the family became worried when she failed to return home by 7:30pm.
