Nwoko's Shocking Drug Claims: Regina Daniels Battles Addiction Amidst Domestic Violence Storm

A significant marital dispute between Nollywood actress Regina Daniels and her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, has captivated public attention, stemming from a viral video where Daniels appeared distressed, alleging mistreatment and stating, "In Ned Nwoko's house I am nothing, but in my own house I am a Queen. Not again, I can't stand the violence, it's too much." This emotional appeal quickly led to widespread concern and a public exchange of accusations.
Senator Nwoko swiftly responded to the viral video and the allegations of domestic violence, vehemently denying them. In a series of posts on his social media platforms, including Facebook and X, Nwoko countered by accusing his wife, Regina Daniels, of drug and alcohol abuse, which he claims is the fundamental cause of their marital problems and her recent violent behavior. He titled one of his posts, "REGINA’S UNPROVOKED CARNAGE AND RAMPAGE IN MY HOUSE AND IN MY ABSENCE," stating that "Regina was not always like this. Her current battle with drugs and alcohol abuse is the root of our problem."
Nwoko detailed several incidents, alleging that Daniels had engaged in destructive acts and assaulted household staff. He claimed she had slapped and hit three staff members within 48 hours and destroyed property, including vehicles and windows, without provocation. The senator further accused Daniels of threatening a resident nurse for exposing her alleged drug use. He expressed grave concerns for her safety and well-being, stating that she must continue her rehabilitation program either in Asokoro, Abuja, or abroad, specifically mentioning Jordan, where she would be unable to access drugs. Nwoko also pointed to alleged drug suppliers, identifying individuals named Sammy and Ann, describing Sammy as Regina's "main drug supplier" and Ann as "the tiny evil devil."
The senator emphasized his stance, asserting, "I have other wives, and none will ever accuse me of violence. Regina is the violent one here." He recounted an incident where a "clear-headed Regina would have taken Moon to the hospital" but instead allegedly threatened the nurse. He claimed that while he took their son, Moon, to the hospital, chaos erupted at home, orchestrated by Sammy, one of Daniels' alleged suppliers.
Adding another layer to the controversy, Regina Daniels' brother, Sammy West, publicly reacted to the situation. He appeared in a video physically shielding his sister and later posted on Instagram, accusing Senator Nwoko of physically assaulting Daniels and sending thugs. West's statement read, "Anywhere wey man dey beat woman, whether na my sister or not, I go fight with my blood! Senator Ned Nwoko, you get luck say after you beat my sister again, smash her head for wall, you run comot send thugs!" This counter-accusation intensified the public's interest in the marital dispute.
The public reaction online has been significant, with many social media users questioning the circumstances surrounding Daniels' alleged drug involvement, especially given her marriage to Nwoko in 2019 when she was very young. Comments ranged from expressions of concern for Regina to empathy for Ned Nwoko, and calls for the couple to resolve their issues privately for the sake of their two children, Munir and Khalifa. As of the time of these reports, Regina Daniels has not issued any formal public statement or response to her husband's accusations.
