A political support group, the Northern Nigeria Support Group for Seyi Makinde, has initiated a concerted effort to drum up support for the Oyo State Governor ahead of the 2027 presidential election. The group recently organized a special prayer session and a horse race in Kano, explicitly aimed at canvassing for Governor Makinde.
