No respite from heat for next seven days: IMD

Ahmedabad: The maximum temperature in the city on Tuesday was 40.2 degrees celsius, 0.5 degrees higher than normal. Likewise, at 28.8 degrees, the minimum temperature was 0.8 degrees higher than normal.According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast, the maximum temperature on Wednesday is likely to be in the same range with a clear sky. At 41 degrees, Kandla had the highest maximum temperature, followed by 40.5 degrees in Amreli, 40.2 degrees in Ahmedabad, and 40 degrees in Rajkot and Gandhinagar, among others.
