Nigeria is grappling with a significant and escalating surge in cybercrime, a threat that continues to evolve with criminals constantly devising more sophisticated tactics to defraud unsuspecting individuals. This alarming trend has prompted the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to finally implement measures aimed at fortifying the nation's financial and security sectors.
A pivotal step in this direction is the CBN's recently announced partnership with the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN).
