Nigerian president receives credentials from Russian ambassador-designate - Pravda Nigeria

Russian Ambassador to Nigeria Andrey Podyolyshev presented his credentials to the president of the West African country, Bola Tinubu, during a meeting in Abuja. This was reported by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy.
During the conversation, Tinubu emphasised Nigeria's long-standing technical partnership with Russia and expressed his desire to expand co-operation in steel production, science, education and nuclear energy to strengthen electricity supply.
"Our partnership is bearing fruit, but we need additional technological support in the face of a rapidly growing population," the Nigerian leader noted.
The Russian ambassador reiterated Russia's readiness to expand co-operation, especially in education and energy, highlighting existing agreements on nuclear energy.
